The competition aims to encourage students to uphold positive values and demonstrate their understanding of national security in a creative and artistic way through designing slogans and posters on the theme of national security. Schools can make use of the entries to promote activities related to national security education on campus and in the community.
Eligibility:
Junior Secondary Section: S.1-3
Senior Secondary Section: S.4-6
Topics:
“The Hong Kong National Security Law ensures long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong”
Write a slogan and produce a poster in one of the following areas to demonstrate the importance of national security to individuals, the society, and our country:
- Hong Kong National Security Law enabling Hong Kong to restore order and rebuild prosperity
- Hong Kong National Security Law ensuring the steadfast and successful implementation of “One Country, Two Systems”
- Safeguarding national security at individual, societal and national levels
The slogan designed for each entry should match the selected area and the content of the poster.
Limit of Entries:
Only one entry may be submitted by an individual student.
Formats and Requirements for Entries:
- Students are required to produce posters in two dimensions. There is no restriction on the format and materials.
- Entries must be a graphic design with colours in A3 size (297 mm x 420 mm) and can be hand-drawn or computer-designed.
- Entries must be presented in Chinese and/or English.
- Entries must be original works which have not been released publicly.
- The content of entries should not reveal information related to the participating
schools or the entrants.
- Entries should be converted into electronic files for submission.
- The resolution of electronic files should be no less than 300dpi.
Submission of entries:
The works must be submitted to Miss Wong Sin or Miss Wong Chun Wah on or before May 13, 2022 (Friday).
