Two of our students, Lee Ho Wang from 2A and Wong Wan Yiu from 4A, have received the Tuen Mun District Outstanding Student Award 2019 – 2020 from the Tuen Mun District Secondary School Heads Association for their outstanding achievements and contributions.
Our students (4A Lai Kwan Fong, 4A Chow Cheuk Hei, 4B Lam Hin Yu, 4C Chow Lok Tin, 5B Chan Ka Chung and 6B Choy Yuk Nam) took part in the Privacy Protection Student Ambassador Programme Schools Praising Scheme 2019 cum AI and Privacy Protection Strategy Design Competition and were awarded Certificate of Merit (Diamond Badge) for their efforts in the associated activities.
Class 3B took part in 71st Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (Prose Speaking) and were awarded Champion and Mr. & Mrs. Ho Sau Ki Trophy for their outstanding performance.
Our alumnus Ms. Chan Sze Wing, currently studying English Language and English Language Teaching at the Hong Kong Baptist University, has received scholarships for demonstrating her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to teaching English after graduation.
The Liberal Studies Department collaborated with Journalism Education Foundation to provide an opportunity for our S6 students to visit Hong Kong News-Expo and TVB News. Our students were able to further consolidate their understanding of the industry through the demonstrations and lectures.
Sun Hoi Ambassadors wish to stimulate the creativity and imagination of young souls through painting, a new, innovative and trendy form of art. Meanwhile, the positivity is spread through the sharing of the volunteers and service receivers. Our performance this year was highly appreciated, and we were awarded First Runner-up in the Service Anywhere Social Innovative Service Competition 2019. We have been ranked as top 3 in this competition for three consecutive years, which broke the records for the secondary section. In addition to that, we were also awarded Silver Certificate by the Social Welfare Department for collectively serving the community for over 600 hours.
22 students participated in Computer App Programming (CAP 2019) Competition. Our students were awarded with 5 Credits and 10 Merits. Congratulations to the winners!
