Learning & Teaching Objectives
1. To develop student ability to reason logically, to solve problem independently and to present solution clearly.
2. To cultivate among students an interest as well as positive attitude towards Mathematics.
3. To prepare students to apply Mathematics and understand its applications outside the classroom.
Learning & Teaching Strategies:
1. Implementing coteaching in S1C/D and S3C/D, and arranging S1-S3 afterschool remedial classes to cater for learner diversity.
2. Offering both compulsory part and extended part of DSE curriculum to meet students’ learning needs.
3. Launching self-directed learning scheme and mathematics book reading scheme to strengthen students’ learning capacity.
4. Embedding e-learning and STREAM activities in curriculum to enhance students’ motivation.
5. Organizing elite courses and nominating students to join various competitions, to exploit students’ potential.
