Application of Ratio in Virtuality and Reality – School Model |
3.1 Subjects: Mathematics, STEAM
3.2 Target form: S2
3.3 Objectives:
In order to enhance students' gratitude, the school specially arranges Metaverse courses for secondary 2 students to participate. Students learn the application of Ratio by building physical miniature school models and virtual Metaverse schools, thereby cultivating a sense of belonging to the school. The work has been graded and calculated into the assessment grade.

Biology, Chemistry, Computer literacy, Chinese, English, BAFS, Mathematics, VA, DT,STEAM, Career Unit, Moral and Civic Education Unit.
4.2 Target form: S3
4.3 Objectives:
To develop and enhance students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, self-directed learning (SDL) skills, collaboration skills; To nurture students the values and attitudes including but not limited to “Empathy”, “ Responsibility”.
4.4 Content:
Students are expected to conduct research on common diseases and healthy ingredients to make healthy cookies for the elderly. Before making the cookies, they gather and make good use of different learning elements across various key learning areas including calculating the ratio of the ingredients, examining the food substances, designing the packaging of the cookies, designing the recipe by considering the nutritional values of the cookies. On the exhibition day, they need to promote the cookies to parents and send them to the elderly center. Through this learning by doing process, students are inspired “to explore”,“to think”, and “to create” with guidance from teacher advisors.
